Radiant Exchange is focused on developing and deploying outdoor cooling and heating systems to benefit people in outdoor labor, recreation, and leisure activities. We want to make it possible to be happy and healthy in the increasingly difficult world of extremes of heat and cold.

Team

Gregory Kiss has worked to advance the art and science of integrated environmental design for more than 30 years. He pioneered Building Integrated Photovoltaics, designing several of the first true BIPV commercial buildings in the US, and authored a series of early technical reports for the DOE/NREL as well as for NYSERDA.

Mahadev Raman is currently Chair of Arup Trustees Board. He has also served as Director of Arup University, member of Arup Group Board and Chair of the Americas. He is also a faculty member at the Princeton University School of Architecture where he teaches environmental and net-zero energy building design.

Rowan Bortz, with a background in bioengineering, is focusing on architecture, building engineering, and data analysis at Kiss-Architects and Radiant Exchange. Over the last two years she has applied and advanced current research on the role of radiative heat transfer in thermal comfort. She leads the development of key hardware and software systems for the radiant pavilions.
